The Corporate Challenge, underwritten by Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, is the Chamber’s newest event and encourages businesses to strategically work together to complete five Field Day activities. The event is held on Friday, April 7 at Bridgeland’s Festival Park from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It begins with registration, a group stretch and opening ceremony. The Corporate Challenge will showcase the friendly interaction between area colleagues and Cy-Fair businesses. The Chamber has partnered with CrossFit Cypress to establish the five field activities.
Teams consist of four to six persons and each event requires four to participate. All teams must include at least one member of each gender. Each team is encouraged to show spirit and make or wear their own team shirt.
Breakfast, snacks and lunch will be offered to participants in the challenge. If interested in attending and cheering on a team, lunch tickets may be purchased for $20. There will be a handful of food trucks including Heffernan BBQ, PDQ, The Backyard Grill and more. Awards will be given to the first, second and third place teams. The winning team will receive bragging rights until the next year’s challenge, which will allow marketing exposure for that business or team for the entire year.
